Video Conferencing with ZOOM
As promised at the last meeting, this month we will delve into some of the details of using video conferencing for chat, meetings, webinars, etc. The program we have selected for this demonstration is ZOOM (http://zoom.us).
Tips and Tricks for Social Media
The use of social media has grown exponentially over the past 10 years. Yet there are many people who still do not use social media or have problems using it. Christie will lead an open forum on the use of social media, showing you some techniques for using these platforms.
The Internet of Things – It’s Everywhere
These days you can go online to adjust your hearing aid, open your garage door, pay touchlessly at the grocery store, use your cell phone as the remote control for your TV set, have a video doorbell alert, and much more. Is it safe? Would it help you in your daily life? Or is is unnecessarily complicating?
Join Sue Kayton in a roundtable discussion. If you have internet-connected gizmos, please plan to explain to the group what you have, and how you use it.
Are there specific questions you want answered? Email them ahead of time.
Preserving Old Pictures, Slides and Movies
Matt will be present the current options for archiving all of your old pictures, negatives, slides and movies. From doing it yourself to using Mikes Camera’s professional imaging services. We will go over cost and time line as well as quality and format making sure to keep in mind the benefits and disadvantages to each process.
