I came to SPAUG after retiring as a Learning Product Developer (aka Tech Writer) at a company that made scientific instruments and test equipment. I came to SPAUG to get continuing computer help from my friend of (then) 35 years, Jim Dinkey, who was President of the organization. When the need for a newsletter editor arose, I figured I could the job, and have been doing it since 2001.

After his retirement from a career as a medical laboratory director he returned to his interests in photography, video production and computers.
